I'll start by saying that I...

I've always admired N. tentaculata since I fist started drooling over nepenthes, and its really a plant I would love to add to my collection. I prefer the lighter version but either is gorgeous. If anyone knows where I can snag one (besides AW) holla' at me! I don't have all that much to trade...

Hello,
I have what is almost certainly N. veitchii x talangensis (purchased as an LHNN Poi Dog) that I need to cut back a bit. It makes lovely yellowish fuzzy talangensis-shaped pitchers with potential for a flashy yellow peristome. Even saw hints of striping in some of the older pitchers.
PM...
Ok so my N. Tentaculata hasnt pitchered for a few months and now it has finally started pitchering. Unfortunetly, it's making these weird deformed pitchers. When I bought it, it did have a pitcher like this. I have proper HL conditions except for humidity. Humidity is about 50-60% so that might...

So I have a tentaculata that is growing in a semi-cascade way right now and I would like it if it grew up rather than sideways. Would it be bad for it if I just let a pitcher stay on the soil surface to suppost the plant or should I just let it keep growing sideways?
pitcher not on soil...
Yesterday, I went inside to have a look around. The place mostly sells orchids, succulents, overprices bonsai, bromelaids etc. I was looking around and found a tray full of a few vft's, some sundews, and nepenthes. Some of the vft's looked dead, some were healthy, the sundews were all dead, and...

I have had my first hamata for 3 months now. It has made about one new pitcher a month but never keeps more than two. I'm hoping one day it will make a rosette like I see in the pics. There are two probs I'm not sure what to do about. I don't think they are major problems but just annoying...
