My mom gave this to me a few months ago. She had it at her work and it wasn't getting enough care. I had it inside for a while and it was doing okay but took up t so I had to move it outside. One day I noticed it had brown patches all over the leaves so I thought it was too hot. Moved it into a...
Wondered for a second if he was exotic, but found out it is (I think) a green tree frog, a local. It's back was kind sticky. Thought it looked pretty cool with the white stripe, maybe part of a duet??
I go to the NC State Fair every year to eat tasty but terrible fair food and to see the plant displays. This year was pretty cool, nothing particularly special but I figured I would share it with you guys.

Today would be exactly one month I have this baby under my care.
Here is a picture when I first got it.
This is the pitcher that made it. The other two died a week later.
The whole plant now.
This is the new pitcher from the new baby leaf! still growing.
And a picture of where is...
To include nepenthes, orchids, maybe a bromeliad, maybe a dew. This is due to downsizing my collection. It might end up being more than 10 too if I get into the packing spirit :p
Inside the US only please, winner pays shipping (lets say 15$ because some of the plants are heavy/big). Bidding...
I received a nice shipment of Nepenthes and a few epiphytes today. :boogie:
I was very pleased, the plants were packed in huge plugs of live sphagnum, so they should pretty much start growing immediately.
In 6 months I will be able to offer up some competition in POTM.

I just divided my extremely overgrown Catopsis berteroniana and I don't really have space for all of them. If anyone is interested let me know. Right now all I'm really interested in are lowland neps, Sarracenia, and petiolaris complex sundews.
Edit: After some close examinations and strong...

Not much to say here, I accidentally ordered way too much Spanish Moss online and need to get rid of a lot of it. If you want some, post here.
Spanish Moss (Tillandsia usneoides) is a subtropical bromeliad, closely related to the air plants you see in the store. It's not a real moss, nor a...
I won a houseplant giveaway from a blog that I read and one of the plants that the lady sent was this bromeliad. Since it doesn't have an inflorescence, I'm guessing that it would be difficult to identify the species, but could anyone at least tell me the genus?
<a...
Hi all and sorry for the long post! I just figured it would be better to ask 1 big question and introduce myself at the same time than flooding the forum with 23 identical questions :) I hope you can bare with me!
See I've got a big problem. Until recently I was happily...
I have a small Bromeliad, not sure of the species, but it has a nice red center, and is a nice looking plant. I also have a Ponytail Palm Bonsai available. Shipping on the bonsai is $15, and shipping on the bromeliad is $15, but if you were to take both, it would only be $20. Post if you want...
I am giving away all my drosera so that I can shrink my growing area (parents are forcing me to :()
I have 1 pot of each of the following plants, that does not mean there is only one plant in a pot.
