Well, as the seasons begin to change, I am noticing that the window I moved my Miranda into isn't getting as much light as it did when I moved him there. And as such I have noticed a big slow down in growth on the plant that didn't flower( the one that did it blocking some extra light from the...
Recently I sent out two miranda cuttings (deroose) to the PNW and thru a snafu they were returned to me. The fellow trader got a resend so that is done with for now. On Saturday the package came back as nka. Thanks guys! The cuttings seem none too worse for wear, and I thought someone out...
I'm thinking about trying my hand at growing N. Gothica. So far I've grown N. Miranda, N. Alata, and N. Ventrata without any problems. The Miranda took a while to adjust to lower humidity but they're all pitchering prodigiously these days. I just wanted to know what the care requirements for...

I recently completed a trade for my third Nepenthes and I'm pretty happy with what I received. I believe it is a N. ventricosa x maxima. So I have a few questions. Is there a proper name for this hybrid? I'm thinking it's N. Red Leopard.
How should I treat this plant? Intermediate...
So, folks, I know it might seem a bit mundane. It's so common, after all, but I'm curious about a couple things.
The CP Photo Finder notes: When N. "Miranda" was first introduced, it was sold as N. maxima "Miranda". The actual parents are unknown, but Vic Brown writes “thought by most growers...

No idea what prompted it, the next pitcher up is almost longer than my hand, and fully clothed. :-D
