I like how you show every pic entered. I always felt guilty picking (what I felt) was the best pic of each person's entry.

I just grab everything that was entered before the deadline because I know my taste in what is the 'best' pitcher or pitcherplant is vastly different from what everyone else thinks is gorgeous. Example: lowii. I think it's the ugliest thing ever - how would I discern which one was the 'nicest'?

Easy.
I hate toilet bowls, but I can still tell you which pic of SK's entry (I feel) is the best pic.
Gotta look past the plant and onto showmanship. i.e. picture quality, clarity, display, etc.

I totally understand where you're coming from though. Tough to pick the best picture of something you dislike.
Like trying to pick out the best tasting liver and onions plate.
