Hi,
I have had these little fellows for 5 months now. P. Emarginata X Ehlersiae
Almost caught a moth. The brown stuff on leaves are moth scales
You are bidding for one P. agnata x emarginata hybrid ping (the largest one in the 2.5in pot in the first pic below). I obtained this ping 3 years ago from a CP grower. Winner pays shipping (USPS priority $6) via paypal. U.S. address only. The plant will be shipped bare-rooted.
Winner may...
Hi, does anyone have a P. emarginata up for trade? I've been looking for a while but no luck.
For trade, I have plantlets of U. calycifida 'Yog-Sothoth', a division of U. praelonga and U. longifolia, D. adelae, D. binata var. dichotoma, and if for some reason anyone wants it, a 2 ft section of...
Well, I've taken the leap into Australian Terrestrial Orchids ! I'm starting with tubers of 4 different species so I figured I'd start this thread right at the beginning........ with some photos of the tubers !

I'd been growing this species (Pinguicula emarginata) for several years, having a large population of them, all derived from a single original plant.
I enjoy this species, one of the homophyllous growth types, and one that doesn't do well unless kept continuously moist, more like the...
I really gotta stop coming up with weird titles lol.
Anyway I just performed a mass leaf pulling on all of my pings this Friday (06/27/14) and thought I would start a development thread incase anyone was interested.
I am too lazy to retype all the pings so I am just copying the description...
I got this ping from the seller as P. emarginata x cyclosecta 2 years ago. It bloom nice this year.
However, I think the petal shape doesn't tell it is a cross of emarginata and cyclosecta.
What do you think? Any comment is appreciated.

These two are the only Mexican Pings I have left, using pure perlite and sphagnum as media.
The recent cool (70s) and bright weather got them to colour up. :-O
P. x 'Sethos' - I've known this hybrid to turn pink in my conditions but it's been a long time since they managed to get the correct...
I've had quite a few moranensis develop really pale green leaves and not sure exactly why.
Quick back story, the original plant suffered a small amount of crown damage and decided to develop schizophrenia (early November).
In the beginning stages of this I thought some the leaves had...
I've always loved pings and have a decent little collection. I can't wait until Spring when I have multiple plants blooming at the same time so I can make some hybrids. Really want to cross my 2 laueana clones, cyclosecta x sumidero, colimensis x laueana, cyclosecta x colimensis, etc. I also...
