One thing I'm always curious about is how everyone else grows their plants. I've only been collecting for a little while, so I've been sort of figuring it out as I go along. Let's see what you've got! Post a picture if possible, describe your lighting, any temperature regulation, where the stuff...
Everything looks terrible because it's winter and I don't believe in artificial lighting, but here goes:
D.graomo
N.macrophylla
N.spectabilis x talangensis
N.sibuyanensis x xtrusmadiensis
N.densiflora x robcantleyii (King of Spades)
P.gigantea (afaik)
some other Ping flower...

Hi,
Is anyone out there growing this utric? Would like to obtain a plant or plantlet/starter portion. Trade for other aquatic utrics or dew seeds or, ???
Thanks!
This is my sketch of what I think I want. I'd like to get more capensis - particularly the all red narrow.
I've been searching a TON of aquarium sites, vivarium setups, terrarium setups, I've looked back at a lot of the old TF threads on the subject. Searched on youtube in my free time and...

So I'm working on expanding my collection of CPs. I actually have quite a few questions I guess so try to bare with me. My thread for my first two CPs can be found here.
The D. Capensis and the Nep both seem to be doing ok although I do have a question about each.
The Capensis first, it...

Hello all!
I have a feeling that I am just doing one thing wrong that my sundew does not like, however I am not sure what it is. To give you some background, about 7 years ago I used to own multiple sundews, Drosera Capensis Albinos and Pygmys, as well as a couple of different Nepenthes and...

I have tried flower stalk cuttings before with VFTs, but not Drosera. Even then I grew them under lights only. Would it be okay to put flower stalk cuttings fom D. binata in a full sun window right next to the plant I took the cuttings from? I have the cuttings suspended in water without a lid...

About a week ago, I got my first Drosera capensis, one 'typical' and one 'albino'!
I've planted them up and they are sending out new dewy leaves that I've been feeding. However, the old leaves do not produce any dew, it seem to have rubbed off during shipping. I am guessing that the dew won't...
i have some seed from two different species of sundew, Drosera capensis, and Drosera filiformis. i have five packets of seed, two packets of Drosera capensis, and three packets of Drosera filiformis. i am looking to trade these for some seed from any other of the easy to grow varieties...

i have always had lots of trouble growing drosera roraimae, the first time i recieved a seedling it died and now i have bought a new more mature drosera roraimae from the summit of mount roraima but im having trouble growing it, i have it growing in artificial fluorescent lighting, it gets...
I keep my plants outside. This works great for my Sars and VFT, but I've been having issues with my Drosera spatulata (only drosera I have ATM; I want to get more if I can resolve this issue). The two plants tends to get beaten down whenever it rains. Almost all the dew was washed away from one...
