So I was finally able to get a photo of one of this plants flowers while open.. Figured it might help ID it.. The flower stalks are WAAYYY taller then any of my spatulata, about 18-20" tall, with the buds being spread out about every inch, instead of tightly clustered like spatulata. So other...
This 'Florida Giant' came to me healthy and I was thrilled that it quickly put on dew and was catching bugs. Now it's lost it's dew and the ends are starting to "crisp" just like my capensis! It's in 50/50 peat/sand sitting in distilled water, top watered a smidge daily, full sun. The...
Drosera graomogolensis #2
This Drosera is from the vicinity of the municipality of Grão Mogol in the north of the Brazilian state of Minas Gerais. Fernando Rivadavia considers this perhaps the loveliest of all sundews. It is hard to argue with that opinion when one sees the shimmering dew and...

I'm auction off an alba dew. I'm not going to tell you what kind it is, I'll just give you hints to it's identify.
This dew's ancestral origins are from a well known mountain range, though thanks to humans it have since spread to most parts of the world. It's not really rare though I have never...
To include nepenthes, orchids, maybe a bromeliad, maybe a dew. This is due to downsizing my collection. It might end up being more than 10 too if I get into the packing spirit :p
Inside the US only please, winner pays shipping (lets say 15$ because some of the plants are heavy/big). Bidding...

I got a nidiformis a couple weeks ago in a trade, soon after a few of the plants turned red and stopped producing leaves with dew. So I have two questions, One is this that fungis that lives inside of the plant tissue taking over or some other pest? Two, there are a few other plants in a clump...
Amphirion over at http://terraforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=130317 suggested a 'Plant of the Month' so let's do this! First... lets argue about rules - I think they should be something like this, yes? You can start entering in plants in this thread too! :awesome:
1. Only ONE (1) Plant...
I keep eyeing this small wardian case from ikea but I'm not sure it's suitable for cp's. What do you think?

I was thinking I would put a nep, Heli, dew, and maybe a celphalotus?
So I start a few dew species and a dionea dente from seed in january. They are all doing great until a couple days ago when they all started to die. This happened this winter with some liniflora seeds they grow well for 3 or 4 months then just die... I don't understand it. From what I've been...
I just recently got 6 B filifolia seeds to germinate I sowed about 10 using the 10% bleach method and 10 on mix soaked with smoke water. This is water that was poured on ash from burnt garden twigs and dry leaves, then the water is sieved. Im really amased at how fast they germinated 7-14 days...

And the inhabitants...
I just planted them today, so they don't have dew or anything. I'll wait until then for the first feedings...

When I made the trade which so generously allowed me to grow Drosera graomogolensis I was asked to post photos. It's taken awhile but I swear they have not been abused. This one's for you Wire Man.
A 4" pot now containing 3 clusters of plants.
The plant that was originally in this spot...
I'll start with the most obvious.. empty milk jugs for RO water.
Beanie Baby cubes & Lowe's death cubes. All drilled out and ready for use.
They make great clear pots for cephs and regia, which have really long roots. Also going to be converting my tuberous dew collection to these pots...
