Sadly I don't have many varieties of flytraps and I would like to fix that. I don't really want to pick up one flytrap here and one there, I would rather do... maybe a minimum of 4, but I could definitely take a much larger selection if you have...

Earlier this year I bought and planted a cupped trap VFT in the large bog. It died back and due to various health reasons the bogs have been slightly neglected, I just spent some time cleaning them out and found a small grouping of VFT's clumping less than 2" x 2" near where the cupped traps...
I have a few Venus fly traps that have just split or about to split off and ones that have split and been growing for some time that i have available to trade, sizes vary according to what type of vft they're coming from and how long they been growing as their own rooted plant in the pot.

I get several cases of false vivipary every year. I have a couple questions:
Is there a best time/way to transplant the new plant from the flower stalk to some peat/perlite? Should I include much or any of the flower stalk? Or just the little stem that attaches the plant to the stalk? None...

I haven't really found any others purchasing vfts from Wellspring Gardens... so here goes. I got a King Henry, Cupped, Dente, Akai Ryu, & they throw in an extra plant.. so i got a spotted elephant ear. The vfts are in 2 and one 3in pots. They are fairly small, but for the price I don't mind...

Why cant I just put all these traps as is, (just like they are in my mini fridge at say 42 to 46 F till late february), and just pot them back up then ?
I know others do this , but do I need to do more than just putting another stryo. plate on as a lid, and tape them...
