Hey all,
There was some interest earlier this year in my experience growing D. Arcturi. I live in a warm city with 30*c summer days but successfully grow both mature plants and seedlings of alpine sundew, including Arcturi.
For my mature plants, this is their third season. The seedlings are...
As the title says, I'm looking for D. linearis. Doesn't have to even be a mature plant. Seeds, seedlings, strikes, or even fresh cuttings are welcome; I can root them myself. Just looking to own a specimen or two of the species.
I have a few things to trade, but not much.

Lots of Drosera varieties
Hi Folks,
I'm looking to add the following plants to my Drosera collection - slackii, madagascariensis, capensis 'Red', capensis 'Bainskloof', capensis x spatulata, nidiformis. I would be happy to receive seeds, or a plant.
I have the following seeds available to...

As the title says. I'm not picky as to species, even if it's a NoID (though known parentage is preferable to satiate my label OCD).
Any plant or leaf-pullings that exhibit noticeable pink and/or purplish hues in the leaves will fit the bill.
Up for trade are:
VFT 'Akai Ryu' (approx. 1.5"...
Happy birthday to me! :boogie:
A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of meeting Kevin (theplantman) and exploring the greenhouse that he curates. I ended up going home with a bunch of cuttings and more seed than I could ever sow, so I am going to share the generosity that others have shown me...
Soooo, a few days ago, this was discovered on a pot that's placed right next to the Drosera Spatulata.
Then I started seeing webs appearing so I i'm assuming the spatulata is also infected with the same pest.
Sorry the webs are kind of hard to see cause I got rid of them before I took...
I'm looking for Japanese locales of Drosera spatulata, Drosera indica, Drosera rotundifolia and Drosera anglica for a community pot. Check out my growlist for trade options. Either seeds or plants are fine. Would prefer seeds of D.indica.
Thanks
Hi all,
I'm curious to see whether anybody is still growing one of Dr. FrankenSnyder's early creatures: the fabulous fertile octoploid D. x nagamotoi.
If you have no idea what this is about, here's the story in a nutshell: the usual hybrid D. x nagamotoi (= D. anglica x spatulata) is sterile...
I was sent this N. vogelii x (spatulata x mira) by accident, I'm hoping, and decided I'd rather trade it if someone is interested, than go through the hassle and expense of returning it. I can't grow highlanders here, so I'd prefer to trade it for a lowland Nepenthes, or even an intermediate...
So I joined this forum over a year ago and never really participated much. However, I've learned alot from the great community here and am hoping to share the little knowledge I have and gain some more! I'm currently in college (Penn State) and spending the summer at my parents farm before...
I had a rough winter, for a variety of reasons and am trying to get some plants back into the collection:
I lost all of my VFT's and cobra lily, D. adelae, D. prolifera, D. falconeri, D. ordensis,... spatulata, capillaris,
rotundifolia, intermedia, burmannii. gypsicola, cyclosecta, gracilis...
I finally did it. There is now a white flowered D. tokaiensis. Only pink flowered plants have been found in nature. Using the Colchicine elixir I successfully transmuted a white flowered sterile hybrid D. x tokaiensis (D. rotundifolia X spatulata) it into the fertile D. tokaiensis. Thanks to...
Hi all,
I had this Drosera pop up in one of my pots so I replanted it into a single pot and got it growing in my Terrarium as it did not like the heat outside for some reason (died back to the root).
The Drosera did not grow from seed, I think rather from roots already in the pot as it grew...
I have what was sent to me as D. x tokaiensis and D. spatulata "Fraser Island" and I'm worried I got them mixed up label-wise since they're super similar. However, both are flowering now and from what I've gathered the first is generally pink while the latter is white. Is that consistently true...
