    Son of hamata!!!

Earlier today I posted a photo of my N. hamata (see it here), and here is a follow-up pic: N. spathulata X hamata. No idea how interesting this is going to be as a fully matured plant, but its plenty interesting so far. I doubt it will have a very toothy peristome like the singalana X hamata...

Just got this plant a few days ago and it opened the pitcher that it was sent with. Left Right Center Very minimal but still existent lid hair from the dad. Daddy's teeth, not as extreme as N. singalana x hamata, but still there and looking good. Rather large wings...

    Cutting Pitchers vs Feeding Pitchers?

So I guess what I want to ask is... Is feeding pitchers going to provide more energy for plant growth than cutting the pitchers so the plant doesn't have to focus on putting out pitchers? There's a few neps that I don't enjoy as much as I could and I think I would really enjoy the larger adult...

    Rash on singalana Tujuh

Hey guys, I've been ignoring this problem for a while now, but since it seems to have spread, I figured I'd try to get some help identifying it. Just like the title says, my singalana Tujuh has developed a strange rash, which began at the stem, and has since spread to the leaves. I'm quite...

    *Mild* Humidity Swings

Alright... So I put my humidity gauge out in my greenhouse last night and I've monitored it throughout the day. Just curious if neps can withstand these very mild swings in humidity. (Sun rises at 6:00 AM and sets at 5:00 PM) 5:00 AM est. 90% 7:00 AM 75% 10:00 AM est. 50% 1:30 PM 35% 4:00 PM...

    N. singalana x hamata

I could not even properly wait until it opened all the way. :laaa: I see teeth! :-D For me it has been growing, not like a weed, but very steadily, inflating every tendril it has. I know they're small, but I'd love to see others'. :banana2:

    Root Rot & Shade Cloth

ROOT ROT: Well, I'm really getting into neps. I don't want to jump in and spends tons of cash before I know my neps are thriving. Neps 1-3 I've had for around a month and they have obviously settled in, as they are vinining quickly and/or creating new leaves and pitchers. Neps 4-6 I've had for...
