I was over at my mom's, partly to get a picture of a Begonia, and I broke a piece off that plant by accident. So I decided to gather a few things and make it interesting.

1) Kalanchoe 'Pink Butterflies'
2) Calceolaria mexicana seedling (annual, reseeds)
3) Begonia...

I got this plant in a trade today, but the person I got it from doesn't know what it is. I'm tempted to say vulgaris, because it looks like what I have grown before as vulgaris. Also, does anyone know whether Meadowview's vulgaris is really vulgaris, or is it macrorhiza? The picture they have of...
I just wanted to share some photos of my Utricularia tank. The substrate is Flora-max mixed with a little peat moss at the bottom with RO water and no CO2 injection, so I don't grow Aldrovanda in here, although since it doesn't really have algae problems I'm considering adding CO2 and putting...
Has anyone had luck growing this plant? I've heard how difficult it is to keep alive. I used to have some but they just got smaller and smaller and faded away. When I received them, they hadn't broken up into pieces like they are said to do, but after several weeks in my tank they just all died...
Last year, based on somewhat of a hunch (from reading threads that a number of people who grew U. longifolia on a windowsill had flowers while those who grew under lights - often did not), I placed a U. longifolia on my east-facing windowsill .... and flowers - lots of them! Last September, I...

I'm looking specifically for this species, but if you have any other offer, let me know. I'm accepting seeds, plants, cuttings, anything that will keep growing.
Why these species? they are simply native CP's of north carolina, and just thought about getting them, perhaps my next...

Hello
I have the following seed ready for swap :
- d. rotundifolia (fresh)
- d. madagascarensis (fresh) - gone
- d. sessilifolia (fresh)
- d. peltata gracilis or foliosa (fresh)
- d. erythrorhiza (this one no germinated for me yet)
Just PM me what You have to...
Yea! i got germination on a tuberous species. This is one of the few pots that have sprouted so far. The seed was very fresh as i had collected these myself this Summer from my mother plant.
These are about 6 weeks old.
The mother plant has also sprouted several plants in the pot.
Enjoy!
Peter
