I noticed that three Drosera have popped up in my Utricularia praelonga x livida. I believe one of them may be capensis and the other two are capillaris. What do yall think?
I just received two sundews in the mail and they're looking healthy but they don't have any dew. To my understanding this has something to do with transfer shock. I was wondering if there is anything I can do to help them acclimate to my conditions faster. One of them is Drosera Capillaris and...

Hey, I am Michael. I am new to growing carnivorous plants correctly. I have been interested in carnivorous plants for a long time. I also have an interest in hydroponics, aeroponics, and aquaponics. I want to eventually experiment with hydroponics and carnivorous plants. I have seen several...
I first got into carnivorous plants in middle school when my family built a house on some land in south Georgia during the fall of 2004. I recognized pitcher plants (S. minor) growing in the ditch after seeing S. flava during a field trip to a local Carolina bay. I tried to take care of the...

My dear falconeri, doing very well, and becoming quite large with regular feeding...
For me, the most fantastic quality about sundews is the way they capture their prey. Whether they curl and tighten around struggling insects or just smother them in dew and tentacles, these plants can be incredibly dramatic. I've seen dedicated sundew picture threads, but I have not come across...
