    I'm johnny!!!

I'm johnny frye and I started growing sundews and venus flytraps about 5 months ago. I also like to grow spiny cacti to protect my plants from my cat.:banana2: PS: Just to...

    Home Depot finally listened!

A couple days ago our Home Depot received a shipment of CP's - 20 (typical) VFT's and 5 S. purpurea, ssp. venosa. I bought a purpurea, since all three of mine bit the dust in April. The gal who works for a plant vendor and does the maintenance for those plants asked me what to do with them. I...

    Terracycle fertilizer- worm castings

It's made from worm poop! What do you think about this as a foliar feed, or even a pitcher feed if you are into that (I do) ? They feed organic waste to worms then make a liquid spray-ready fertilizer out of the castings. They collect and recycle bottles (over 1.5 million so far) and donate...

I've been looking for a good English-speaking succulent/cactus forum on the net, but haven't found anything useful so far. The Gardenweb format is a total mess. There are two awesome German forums (natch - once the Germans latch onto a hobby, they make their own), but I just can't believe...
