Picked cacti

I live in southern california and we have TONS of cacti here, so I picked a small one and put him in some dirt/sand mix. Also, the small one might actually be a leaf from a mommy plant. Do ya tink it'll grow Now answer my question, while I go and pick out spines frome myself.

Make sure you add extra perlite in the growing medium to aid water drainage.
