I have a question regarding the highland form(s) of N. truncata.
I bought my N. truncata from BE at the Chelsea Flower Show in Londen in 2007 and Rob Cantley assured me it was the highland form of the species. Does this mean that this is one of the so-called "Pasian" clones or not?
I was under...

After 3-4 months of filming, the seed pods have cracked open and the time lapse for the female N. Hirsuta X Tiveyi & N. thorelii X truncata X campunalata is now complete. Despite the large size of the N. Hirsuta X Viveyi seed pods, no viable seeds were created from what I can tell. Ironically...
Hi all,
I thought I'd post some pictures of my indoor setup, which is a windowsill setup and a desk setup.
Complete setup:
Windowsill setup:
For this setup I constructed two large rectangular containers that fit nicely on my windowsill. I then mounted the smaller one above the bigger...

This guy is doing really well. Getting back to its former glory. Two growth points with both of them putting on size. This is the original and I also have the remake with the red truncata. I look forward to seeing the differences.
Anyone care to share their N. "Marbled Dragon"?
The shade house is full to overflowing… I finally got the time to put together a trade list over the weekend. I am primarily interested in nepenthes; however, I also grow cacti, succulents, bromeliads, and other CPs so please make an offer if you see something that interest you. I would...
I'm trying to get names for these guys. They were given to me last fall and these are the first pitchers since I've had them.
He mentioned truncata but I would like to know.
Looks like some bug damage on this one but I can't find the bugs.

Recently, I decided to try an experiment: I wanted to “dress up” the bench surfaces between the pots with live Sphagnum. I’ve seen photos from other people’s greenhouses where they’ve built a living Sphagnum culture on the bench tops in this manner, and the idea appealed to me, so….

Not often that I post pics on the forums, so I thought I'd add in a few things:
Everyone's probably seen my N. rafflesiana in the POTM thread, so I'll start with N. ampullaria 'Harlequin'
Followed by N. spectabilis "giant"
And an 8 1/2" pitcher from N. 'Miranda'. I know it doesn't measure up...
Hi all, I guess I'll make a permanent pic thread too!
First of all, my outdoor plants made it through another winter! The N.xPredator took the most damage, and I had to move the N. thorelii x aristo indoors due to cold damage. The rest cruised through:
Here's N. platychila x veitchii. I...
This plant from Wistuba is showing one of its namesake reddish leaves.
The leaves at this stage of development are ridged and hairy.
Even the underside of the leaf is reddish with short hairs as well.
The next pair of shots, were taken indoors - the first shot accentuating the ridges...
