I have a few feet of Begonia withlacoochee. It's a nice trailing tropical species. I use it in my terrariums, and it is in constant bloom. The leaves have a nice coloration to them, and it is very easy to grow. I'm not looking for anything in particular, so offer away. I'd prefer species, but...
Luckily I've already gotten some babies off this one and some cuttings so I'm not at a loss, but I'm just curious what did the damage?
See through worm seemed to be the most likely culprit I found in the pot. They were everywhere under the dead leaves.
I also had these maggots in the soil...
I'm looking for some pings and live sphaghum for a small project I am working on. If you have any please get with me so that we can work something out. I would prefer if the spag was not wild collected.
Thanks.
I bought a P. primuliflora maybe a month ago. It was planted in a half peat/ half sand substrate. I kept it watered via tray method with the water level only about an inch from the soil level. The plant had a 16 hour photoperiod under 4 4ft fluorescent bulbs with 2 being warm light and 2 cool...

This is my last -stravaganza thread until the Sarracenia are ready in spring. I think I have a pretty unique setup for my pinguicula. At least I've never seen anyone else with a setup like it. I'll start with a tutorial showing how I made my setup for my pings. In the tutorial, the plant...
Hey, I am Michael. I am new to growing carnivorous plants correctly. I have been interested in carnivorous plants for a long time. I also have an interest in hydroponics, aeroponics, and aquaponics. I want to eventually experiment with hydroponics and carnivorous plants. I have seen several...
Hi,
Im doing a project for school where I'm required to grow a plant from seed to maturity (or a sellable size, maybe 1-2 inches diameter?) I've been searching for hours trying to find how long it takes for this ping to reach maturity when grown from seed, but I cant seem to find the...
Hi, I'm Ang, a lurker, who lives in the Pacific Northwest. I'm a beginner carnivore owner and have been growing since 2010.
I have a 10 year old who loves Carnivores. We've made it a tradition that we get two carnivorous plants, which I care for, instead of Easter baskets.
I have:

Helllo All,
Could you please help me ID this ping? Very new to pings as in, saw this awesome plant at Lowes and decided to make it a rescue.
From reading other posts, Lowes often sells Ping Primuliflora?
I have no idea if this is termperate or tropical? Any comments are appreciated...
Hello,
You are bidding on one small (~1/2 inch diameter) plant of the beautiful Pinguicula primuliflora 'Rose'. This japanese cultivar reliably produces tripled flowers, sort of like S. 'Tarnok'. It's cool. Let's start the bidding at 12$. Shipping is 5$, please contact me at info

What is the best way to transplant this
It hasn't grown much at all but stays dewy and even put out another plant.
I believe it is a P. primuliflora and is about the size of a dime if that helps.
If I can't transplant it, would I be able to take a pulling?
