Nepenthes ventricosa x gymnamphora rooted cutting
Up for sale is one rooted cutting of N. ventricosa x gymnamphora, approximately 10-12" across. This is an easy growing and attractive hybrid, one which I know will endure lowland conditions and grow well as an intermediate. Pitchers can reach at...

I really like this Nepenthes hybrid from EP. I like the stripe peristome (N. lowii influence), dark pitcher and plant is small. The pitcher is as big as the plant, very compact due to the N. aristolochioides in its background. It does have a few hairs under the lid.:banana2:

Just testing the waters with this one. . . this cross is a really charming plant (IMO) - I am not actually aching to let it go. It is, however, getting rather large for my current setup and is in need of a repotting. I'm not so keen on repotting it either because it will probably just want to...
Not very big yet, but its getting there!

Ok, so normally, a Nepenthes pitcher will inflate until it reaches the point where it will open, then the lid will pop open, then the peristome flattens and rolls over and good stuff happens...But what if, hypothetically, one was to accidentally "pop" the pitcher lid open open before the pitcher...
Well a new pitcher opened up from a leaf that has been grown under my care. A few photos of the plant are below and im just happy its doing well under my care. The lid had popped open about 1 minute before the pictures were taken. The peristome will darken up a good amount seeing the pitcher...
With my adventure to Denver Botanic Gardens, many a wonder had been witnessed for this day. I decided to take more pictures, as these are 90% of what crowds my photo storage. Sorry for the tater quality pictures.
You approach the turnstiles and know that when you get there, you have to give...
I'm offering some free seed grown Nepenthes ventricosa "Black Peristome" and Nepenthes x hookeriana (rafflesiana x ampullaria) plants for beginners to the hobby or the genus. Both plants are very easy growers and good plants to get your feet wet with. You may enter for both plants, if you happen...
I have finally had the time to get around to my photo collection
and decided that I should post a few on here. Hope you enjoy.
I apologize in advance for any bad quality photos, as what im currently using
has the photo capability of a potato.
Some of these images may be a bit dated...
My hummers giants have 2 pitchers that have some black coloring on the pitcher near the peristome. Im using the tray method with about 1/4" - 1/2" of di water. And they are under 4 2' t5ho that i got about a week ago. Are they just adjusting to their new conditions?
I just recently noticed 6 plants in my collection of cephs that have only 1 rib on the peristome between the front hairy “wing” and each of the lateral ones instead of the usual 2.
Has anyone else noticed this in any of their plants?
Also have one with 3 ribs on each side of the midrib.

I just got a N. Talangensis that was advertised as having a bright red peristome. I was wondering if it will change color over time or did I end up with the greenish peristome variety.
I have other young plants with very red peristome and that is why I am wondering about this one.
Thank you.

Hi everyone! I think I finally have enough plants to keep up a little photo thread here for you all :) I set up my first greenhouse about a month ago and the climate change for the plants caused quite a bit of shriveled pitchers while I fine tuned humidity, temp., water, etc. But all the plants...
