I bought a couple plants this summer labeled D. nidiformis, which have been growing nicely alongside my D. capillaris and D. tracyi, but, thanks to the cold weather, seem to be forming hibernacula. Is this actually possible with this species? Or is it likely I have something else mislabeled as...

Love the rosetted dews but IDing is certainly not my strong point! I feel like D. spatulata or some sort of derivative is the obvious answer, but I want to be sure.

First up is nidiformis, at least that's what the seed packet said  Little guys took darn near six months to germinate.
Next is a mystery dew. The leaf came labled in a trade. I promptly lost the lable. I emailed the giver and asked, and deleted all my email in error. As of now I...

Greetings all,
I am procrastinating right now and avoiding responsibility for just a few more minutes so I thought I would make a list of some of the carnivorous plants I think are best to start with- a long with some comments. This list is meant to be pretty general and is perhaps USA centric...
Picked this up recently and thought it was something else entirely. It is now starting to take an upward growth habit to the leaves which kind of resemble the long arm form of capilaris. It also has the narrow petioles of something like nidiformis. There are hairy stipules along the margin of...
