Item #271158821283...............name that plant. I can't help but notice the interesting leaf physiology, sort of like my spatulata x hamata or mikei. Is it spelled spatulata or spathulata? I swear, I see it spelled both ways in different places and would like a definitive answer.

I've got a mystery sundew here. It was grown from what was supposed to be D. roramiae seed but obviously this is something else. It appears d. capensis like but the stipules, somewhat tapered end of leaf shape, long white trichomes on the margins of the petioles, and rate of growth make me think...

I found this in the back yard while digging. It looks really suspiciously like a fulgerite, or something volcanic (If so, how'd it get all the way over here?), and I'd like some additional opinions. I'm sorry that the pictures aren't that great. I'll try to get better ones over the weekend, when...

Hello fellow CP'ers
I have a couple of Mystery Nepenthes. These were given to me as cuttings. They were potted in LPS and they have since taken off and are producing pitchers that are quit stunning. The pitchers are purple-red with darker spots. I have attached a couple of photos; I hope they...
I have heard about a mystery disease, presumed to be a virus, that infects a lot of the Pinguicula 'Titan' material in cultivation. Its symptoms are twisted, deformed, and "rolled up" leaves, stunted growth, and inability to fully break dormancy (plants get "stuck" between dormant and active...

Following my -stravaganza theme of thread titles, I am starting a thread for my sundews. Up next are my pings and heliamphora. I wouldn't say I have a lot of sundews but my collection is steadily growing. I grow all my sundews in my homemade grow rack which I'll show a picture of in this thread...
I plan on doing a lot of field work in the next few years, so I decided to start a thread for the photos and such.
Okay, these first few photos aren't in the field, but they were taken on a trip that involved field work.

Hi all,
I have an experiment in mind that requires the volunteering of numerous VFT seed or other seed/gemmae.
I would prefer VFT seed at this time, Large/Giant varieties if I could find them, but not necessary.
I will need about 50+ to 200 or more seed,
and would prefer to trade for a...
I have this capensis for a while and was curious about what it is. I was told it was a typical but after receiving an actual typical I learned it is not. It was suggested it is a wide leaf. Is there any chance it is one of those blains kloof capensis? Reason I ask is I have had this thing since...
Gonna give some random things away. It's about that time..
Contest starts meow.. and ends on my birthday (July 8th).
Winning numbers have already been chosen. SO GOOD LUCK!
The giveaway list includes, but isn't limited to:
Clusters of (U.S. version) D. capensis 'Giant' plants...
Does anyone know what could be causing this? What happens is the pitcher gets cut open the side and then the top dehydrates... I doubt it's the Sarracenia moth (I forget it's name) as I do not live in NC.
I caught Prometheus the other night and I still cannot decide, for the moment, whether I want to applaud Ridley Scott or strangle that limey ******* with a length of piano wire. The film has the dubious benefit of some of the stupidest scientists ever on film -- a close second only to that guy...
