Hi, i have just recevied a small clump of U. Geminiloba and was wondering what should i use as medium, also any other tips on growing this wonderful plant would be greatly appreciated.

Just wanted to say that so far, the plant is proving very ammenable to my culture on a moist to wet medium. Caution has been advised though, although the growth is excellent, the plant might not form its characteristic tubers that will carry it through dormancy. Based on this, I get the feeling...
The plant is showing a remarkable rate of growth! Stolons are coming out all over. I/m going to try putting a little osmunda fiber around the clump and see it it likes that medium, but I bet it will! It;s great to see some real growing action on this one. I am hoping the U. geminiloba will take...
It is with me, and I hope to keep it so. I welcome any advice on the do's and don'ts on this subject, perhaps a few 500 word essays on the habitat....well, anything that anyone has that will help with my current j-j-j-itters...
My U quelchii and U. geminiloba both have new leaves coming. Quite a relief. It's hard to tell if you are growing something right when it shows no signs of growth from months at a time.
