I have 4 packs drosera Filiformis "Florida red" seed to share with this generous forum community. 4 winners will be picked by random number generator next Sunday (10/12/2014), shipping is on me (USA only). As usual, just put your name below:

I recently moved and I don't think my d. filiformis is handling it all that well. Any suggestions on how to help it out? I cut off all that was brown (it's my understanding that brown parts down photosynthesize), did that help or not matter?
Also, what are the nodules near the base of plant...
Hi everyone, first time poster here on terraforums. I thought a seed giveaway might be a good way to kick off my membership here!
I have a copious amount of seed from drosera I've been cultivating for a few years now. I have a large bog and they produced a lot for me this year. I want to add...
I have been asked for my growlist many times and I am really bad about keeping one so here goes (As of this posting this list is incomplete and only includes my Aldrovanda, Genliseas and Utricularias).

I have a couple kinds of seeds ready to go now, with more on the way. The only cp is Drosera filiformis, 3 portions. Also have a couple of temperate cp companions. Rose Mallow, Hibiscus moscheutos, 3 portions. This is a bog loving shrub, hardy from zones 5-9, gets about 4'-5' tall with large...
Went back out to the local bog I visited a few weeks ago. This time, I wanted to get some good pics of some of the other bog plants, and also search for other Drosera. So far, I have only been able to spot Drosera rotundifolia at this bog. It may be that the other natives (D. intermedia, D...

I have a few things left over from redoing a couple of my above ground half barrels. Plenty of Cranberry, some Scirpus rush (possibly americana), some very pretty unidentified "weeds", D. filiformis and some D. intermedia from White's Bog NJ. I have enough to make 2 nice small flat rate boxes...
In the time since I first joined terraforums several years ago, a have recieved a number of plants and seeds through giveaways and SASE's
In return for the community's generosity I think it's time I give something back, so I have four Drosera filiformis plants to give away! I'll even pay...
Hello again community,
I am reaching out to see if anyone out there in plant land has any outdoor varieties to spare for a bog I am building for an internship with Portland State University.
I got a 2 sars and 1 flytrap but am needing a little more.
I would love a filiformis and a few more sars...
Today a few of the NECPS members took a trip to a few bogs on the Cape. We visited 3 different locations, all somewhat close to each other yet all ecologically different.
Site # 1
The entrance road and habitats where we found the plants . A fairly dry site, very unique among New England bog...
Has anyone tried to hybridize Glanduligera with some hardy Drosera? Say Filiformis or Filiformis x Intermedia?
I'm in Zone 7, but would like to put some of these outside. If I can get the trapping behavior worked into a strong hybrid, that'll do nicely.
Received this plant about 4 days ago. Also I"m curious is it necessary that I put the moss on top?
I did that because I was concerned about soil temperature.

Hi plant community,
I am looking for a few good carnivorous plant varieties (Sarracenia, Dionaea, D. filiformis or any other species that would be suitable) for a container bog garden I am creating on campus. Thank you for your support and I will gladly reimburse for shipping cost.

So I decided I needed to pick up cave diving, and thus I ended up in Northern Florida. Considering I was already going to be around pitcher plant country, I spent a couple days after my dive classes wandering the swamps. Since I couldn't find anyone else to go hang out in the swamp with me, I...

Hey all! It's been a while...long story short, I'm moving to a new place here in Gainesville that has some outdoor space and I'm thinking of downsizing my collection (pretty much exclusively Drosera now) to those that can do well outside year round.
9a indicates winters that can get down to...
