This is my first winter with D. filiformis 'California Sunset' and I was wondering what I should expect for dormancy. It is outside in an unheated minigreenhouse sitting in a quarter inch or so of water, and most of the leaves have browned and died. The center of the rosette looks a lot like...
Hello all this is my first dormancy with my plants and I've already had some of my sundews go dormant. My question is how much water do the plants Need during the winter? I am in Charlotte NC if that matters and the plants are grown outside. I'm growing VFTs, Sarrs, and some temperate, and...
I took a few photos of my filiformis flowering today, it is looking great! What are the differences between the two subspecies? This is growing in full sun and it is staying green, does that mean it is tracyi?
I have the following drosera and was wondering if they will remain viable: d. natalensis, d. filiformis FL Giant, d. intermedia, d. capillaris long arm. I would like to get big pots and grow them outside next spring. But if the seeds won't remain viable, i need to know that and will get them...
