And like most plant folks who live where the snow flies, one of the major limits on what I keep is lighted space. My house doesn't have much window space, and some of what's there is reserved for cats. I have a few set ups with artificial lighting, but still run out of space every winter...
I have a generous portion of utricularia calycifida "Asenath Waite" to offer. Shipping is on me. Offer extended to US residents only.
Since this cultivar is named for a character in an H.P. Lovecraft story, it seems only appropriate that the challenge be literary. The first person to guess my...
Apparently, this is a false John Rizzi:
Skimming through the Photofinder, I couldn't find an exact match. Whoever 'staticflicker' is, I think we have the same cultivar. About all i can conclude is that it appears to have moranensis traits.
Just got this guy, have absolutely no knowledge of IDing Pings, outside of North American ones. Anyone have suggestions? I'm guessing it's a cultivar, but I'm not sure. I was just told that it's an easy Mexican Ping.
As described in the latest issue of Carnivorous Plant Newsletter. Up for auction are two dormant plants of adult size. This is a new cultivar of D. filiformis and, likely, D. tracyi. It is more red than the cultivar 'California Sunset' and is much more cold tolerant. Its general appearance is of...

Ummm probably several of the new hybrids I have developed.... small, but each is seed grown and the first of their kind, anywhere
Each has the potential to be the next great cultivar...
support NASC, get a great deal on some plants, and have fun doing it
Hi guys. I've been breeding D. capensis for about 4 years now and have an F5 or 6 (can't remember--have to check my notes) generation. It's got typical/red leaf/alba worked in in various ways. This generation, I had a couple plants I could tell were really special. Now that they're flowering, my...
My "sunken bed" under construction. I am going to begin collecting and breeding Sarracenia on a massive level. I'll also be

I have a small division of S. leucophylla Hurricane Creek, AL up for grabs for postage. Please read carefully:
Although this plant was given to me as the cultivar 'Hurricane Creek White' it rarely produces the large wide pitchers in the fall as described by John Hummer. Because of this I do not...
Edit: Trade Closed
Hey Everyone:
I have a small portion of U. 'Jitka' for trade. As many of you know, this is a fairly rare cultivar and an interesting cross between U. quelchii (female) and U. praetermissa (male).
I'm looking for plants on my want list (and not on my growlist) -...
I thought it would be fun to try to find some of the oldest carnivorous plant cultivars out there. The ICPS has a cultivar list with dates, so I thought I'd find some of the older ones and post them here. It would be neat to see if any of them are still around and if they aren't try to find the...
Hi,
I recently started to grow plants, beginning with an Aechmea bromeliad. It's a hybrid cultivar called "haiku". Since I got it, it has grown a little more roots, and a few leaves.
I made some mistakes with it like putting an osmocote granule into its cup for a few months. only recently have...
The seedling is a new hybrid:
Heliamphora parva x folliculata

Does this cultivar flower?
Does it yield a high volume of seed, if so does the Progeny follow through.
I can't find out much about leaf pull success rate on this cultivar.
How many offshoots does in provide over a season?
Thanks Noddy
