Sarracenia x catesbaei for SASE (4) packets (CLOSED)
I just harvested some more Catesbaei (flava x purpurea) seeds from my bogs. I have four packets available for SASE.
If you've already gotten something from me, please give others a chance.

Sarracenia purpurea x flava (commonly known as 'Catesbaei'). A vigorous sarracenia for starters. Ensure that seed has been stratified in order to get germination.

So, I recently returned from a visit to Phil Faulisi's place -- I was so astonished and dumbfounded by the mutant carnivores that reside there! It is almost as if Phil has this magical CP growing aura surrounding him and his house!
The photo fun is about to start: As a note, I will break the...

Updated 6/20/08 Excuse misspellings for the time being. My CP interest focuses mostly on Sarrs, I have been fascinated with them since I was a kid. Although my growing space is limited, my plant interest is broad and overlaps my hobbies, education, and profession.
Besides the CPs, I also...

This is pics of my bog that I took last month. A lot of the plants in it were bought right here at Flytrapshop.com
This is a S. catesbaei from Andrew. They look way better now that they are fully open. I'll get some more current pics soon.
This is a S.dana's delight flower. It's currently...
So Andrew 1 and I (Andrew 2) met, and to my surprise the universe is still intact. When we shook hands no explosions went off and no wormholes to alternate dimensions opened up, however there were some similarities that went just beyond our names and birthdays: We were both dressed pretty much...
Intro:
For several months I have been keeping a diary of my plants behaviour, sizes, growth etc. I've kept this diary more so I can show myself how well my plants are growing, and give me more drive to keep them alive and well, than as a real science experiement. However reading back through my...
It's been lows at night around 45-50 degrees, and no lower.
Tomorrow night (4/29) there's a Mother Nature Special low of 37 degrees.
I have Sarracenia Dana's Dlight, x Catesbaei, and Pupurea - should I bring them indoors for the night?
I have a Sarracenia x catesbaei, a Sarracenia "Dana's Delight", and a Purpurea ssp. Venosa.
I live in Harrisburg, PA where at the moment we're in lowe to upper 70's and 50's at night.
My Sarr's are outside currently in full sun from morning till almost sunset.
I could move them so that they...
Spring has finally come and I am finally able to plant my bog garden that has been sitting empty since last October! Unforunately, there isn't much to show yet, as I just got these plants today. Here are the pictures:
