NASC auction is OPEN!!
Spring has finally come and I am finally able to plant my bog garden that has been sitting empty since last October! Unforunately, there isn't much to show yet, as I just got these plants today. Here are the pictures:

The bog garden's current inhabitants are:

2 Sarracenia Alata 'Maroon Throat'

6 Sarracenia leucophylla x psittacina 'Dixie Lace' - My mom's favorite (that's why we got 6!)

2 Sarracenia leucophylla x willisii 'Dana's Delight'

2 Sarracenia leucophylla x rubra 'Sheridan'

3 Sarracenia x Judith Hindle

2 Sarracenia catesbaei x purpurea (x melanorhoda) - My favorite

A few venus fly traps

Soon to go in are some d. filiformis, sarracenia alata, more vfts, and sarracenia lecuophylla tarnok.

My envy for you bog garden growers becomes stronger with each passing day! I can't wait until I have the available property to create one.

That being said, very nice job. I can't wait to see updated pictures a few months from now.

Wow! That thing is awesome!!

What are the dimensions..it looks quite large. I wish I had enough room to do something like that...as it is I have a 3 foot by 1 foot bog garden growing, and that is hard enough to take care of...I can't imagine taking care of something that size! I'm curious...how do you water your bog garden because I water mine with distilled water that I buy from a local grocery store...I can't imagine buying enough water for something that size! So ya do you just water it with your hose or have some other method?

Thanks, I will keep updating this thread with pictures as the months go on.

It is 6 x 4 feet. As of now, I have a lot of rain water that I collected over the winter, so I am going to keep using rain water and collecting it. I don't think that will work too long though, so I am probably going to end up buying a reverse osmosis water purifier.
