Hello all,
Currently I am a high school senior, and a requirement for graduation here is completing some sort of senior project. So, I am working on putting together a comprehensive carnivorous plant presentation, and am looking to bring along a wide variety of live plants for the presentation...
Hey guys so I decided that posting all my pictures in one boringly named thread didn't give the variety of my collection justice so I'm starting this thread just for my Nepenthes, Heliamphora, Brocchinia, Catopsis and Cephalotus. As of now I don't have any Cephs and I've only got two Heliamphora...

There are a couple of putative new brocchinia species one similar to hechtiodes but much taller, the other similar to reducta but much shorter. Have thay been described yet? I cannot find anything on the WWW. Cheers Didge...

Howdy. My Drosera Graminifolia isn't doing so well. It's producing new leaves with clear tentacles, but no glue. I bet a million dollars it's because it's not getting full sunlight (it gets a couple hours of direct sun a day).
What would be a good replacement for this sundew? I have a...
I was flipping through a German book -- Karnivoren, (http://www.terraforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=114346&highlight=karnivoren) -- the other night (in a very successful effort to get drowsy), which had a table listing the various chemical components necessary for carnivorous plants to...

It appears I have to opportunity to pick myself up either a Catopsis beteroniana or Brocchiana reducta. They seem to want the same method of cultivation (full sun, moist, free-draining media, no frost), and I find both equally fascinating. But I'm having a hard time deciding on which to get! B...
U. humboldtii plant
This is a small plant from an aerial stolon from one of my larger plants. Plants from these original seedlings have been producing 'paddles' 4-7" high and about 1.5" wide. However, I do not know if this is truly their adult size. For whatever reason, this species is rarely...
I've had my Brocchinia Reducta for awhile now (I believe I got it in August or September). Anyways, I've found it to be really boring. It hardly grows at all, and every couple of months I throw a bug into the water tank.
So yeah, what should I do with it? I know that it's a fairly rare plant...
