Is there more than one variety being cultivated? My plants and most others I have seen pictures are bright green and have leaves that arch out making the plant appear very wide. Those I have seen photographed in the wild are more brightly colored and all leaves are very erect and held together...

Hello. I am getting one of these carnivorous bromelaids for $24 from Cook's. I have read from the Savage Garden that it is fairly easy, so im taking a shot at it. Windowsill or terrarium? Its coming in a 3inch pot. Any info? thanks-Zach
