I really hate squirrels. I had a pot full of leah wilkerson x adrian slack seedlings that were growing really well as well as the seeds I got from adnedarn and pyro that were also doing well until I got home from work today to see all of them dug up and walnuts burried in the soil. I was able...
Several months ago I was one of those who received some of Pyro's Sarr seeds in the Big Sarr Seed SASE giveaway.
This is a shout-out to say thank you! for the free seeds. :) Seven germinated and all of them seem very healthy.
They're just starting to grow up...

Seedgrown Cephalotus from selfed 'Hummer's Giant' seed harvested & planted in the fall of 2008.
I had been giving away or trading seeds from my HG cephs for a few years. At the end of the 2008 giveaway, I had a few seeds leftover (not enough for a packet) and decided to plant them. About half...

If you've...

Up for bid are 6. Girls are reported to reach 6", but I've never seen one over 4.5....Males are only slightly shorter, though much less bulky.
Great to release in the GH, or keep as pets (but keep them...
This one was divided up today and is now potted up and hopefully settling in. I will post up a pic of the plant if all goes well over the next 7-10 days. Since this is a fresh division, if the plant in the photo does not look well come shipping day I will sub one of the older divisions.
So...
Thanks again for all the prior advice. My Sarr seedling count is now 7 or 8 (out of ~25) so my yield isn't great, but for a first-time-ever attempt, I'll take it. The seeds were the ones Travis (Pyro) harvested and adnedarn sent out in packets; they're a mix from around 80 or so different Sarr...
Well, it's sunny out so I've taken a few pics:
truncata pasian
madagascariensis - forgot if this pitcher was already open on the plant when I got it from adnedarn or not
red leopard working on a pitcher
alata sending up new pitchers - I like the outline around where the pitcher is going...
