He-ey Bay Area peeps! I have two, count 'em two four foot long GE T8 florescent tubes with YOUR name on them! I can't ship these guys, so a pick-up is in order. They're daylight balanced, nice and blue.
I'm willing to trade them out for a nice Drosera capensis, a weedy Utricularia subulata, or...
Last year I posted pictures of the wet area at my house where several carnivorous plants grow. I have since done much to clear invading shrubs and exotic grasses. Here is a photo from January.
The plants have died back completely for the winter and I cleared much of the invading overgrowth...
My wants and my available-for-trade
Hi there, all. I'm a noobity noob (not to plants, but to the forum) but I figured I'd start right off mentioning what I want for my eensy collection, and more important, what I've GOT. Not much in the way of CP's for trade, but I do have some groovy...

Over this coming summer I will be travelling all across NC in an attempt to photograph as many CP's in situ as possible, particularly Sarracenia. I am working on a book about the diversity of Sarracenia between the populations within NC as well as a field guide for even the most botanically...

I suspect many yards in the rural southeast are home to Drosera brevifolia. A teacher of mine in 7th grade mentioned that she had some in her yard. Many of my neighbors front yard ditches are filled with little white sundew blooms during sunny spring days. Likewise, my yard has some nice...
I need a large quantity of U. subulata to plant in my 125 gallon terrarium. I need ground cover and I think subulata would work nicely. If you want, I can pay for shipping. Also, if anyone has any other unwanted weedy Utricularia, I would love to take them off your hands for you. I dont have...

I mainly grow native plants, from Florida and Georgia, and carnivores.
If anyone is interested in native plants and their ecosystems of Florida, check out Priceless Florida, printed by the Pineapple Press. The book really gave me a new perspective on the really unique and dynamic ecosystems of...
Hey, I am Michael. I am new to growing carnivorous plants correctly. I have been interested in carnivorous plants for a long time. I also have an interest in hydroponics, aeroponics, and aquaponics. I want to eventually experiment with hydroponics and carnivorous plants. I have seen several...
I first got into carnivorous plants in middle school when my family built a house on some land in south Georgia during the fall of 2004. I recognized pitcher plants (S. minor) growing in the ditch after seeing S. flava during a field trip to a local Carolina bay. I tried to take care of the...
