I was thrilled to learn these plants can overwinter where I live(?-crossing fingers), so I did some research, and filled in my pond :grin:
I started with a layer of sand..
Then a layer of just peat
And filled the rest with peat and sand mix.
I put in a 4" pvc pipe standing up with holes...
And I'm pretty sure the major ice storm we had was a big cause of it... However, nothing I can do but really try and recover from this point... Was not a small loss by any means at least in my eyes... So here is the final tally
