I got some pygmy gemmae about 3-4 weeks ago. Many of them are starting to develop into little plantlets but I'm noticing a lot of algae growth, possibly cyano, on the surface of some of the pots.
Is there any way to combat this, I'm concerned it may compete with the gemmae, and it also don't...
Hi Guys,
I'm having some CP growers over this Saturday the 13th from 10am-Noon to help divide my Pygmy Drosera Collection.
Anyone who makes it will leave with lots of fresh Gemmae.
Shoot me an email at jeremiahsplants@comcast.net
My address is
712 Columbia Rd.
Colorado Springs 80904
1. Only ONE (1) Plant per member may be entered in any particular month. This means one Nep vine, one Sarr Rhizome, one pygmy dew etc.
2. All pictures must be taken in the month of entry into the contest.
3. All entries must be clearly identified.
4. Entries are restricted to cultivated plants...
So I think my pygmy Drosera are making gemmae, and if they are I have a few questions.
1. When should I harvest the gemmae?
2. How should I harvest the gemmae?
and 3. Do I just plant them like seeds?
Here are the gemmae in question:
Have:
D. dichrosepala ssp. dichrosepala "Fish Track Rd."
D. allantostigma
Slight chance that D. scorpioides and D. roseana may be available soon--have to see how much they produce.
Would like to trade for any pygmies or pygmy hybrids not on my growlist.
Please get in touch via email, NOT PM...

I've just collected ~3 packets worth of D. scorpioides gemmae (10-15 gemmae per packet). I don't really collect pygmy Drosera, so I'm pretty open to any offers. As far as pygmy Drosera, besides scorpioides, I have pulchella growing very well for me. I've tried grievi and dichrosepala ssp. enodes...
I currently have gemmae available for trade from D.omissa "Pink Flower" and D.rosea. I'm looking for gemmae from Pygmy Drosera that I don't currently grow. No hybrids please.

Hello!
In April 2010 I was walking to the top of campus at SFSU and passed by the University green house. They were having a plant sale and I decided to check it out. I ended up purchasing a Sarracenia x readii and had no idea what I was getting myself into or how I would get swept up with the...

Received this pot from my cousin a few months ago and have been feeding it and providing it with some natural light. It's really exploded in growth and started to flower

I bought a small collection of plants last year. It wasn't labeled very well. I could use some help with Id's, any help would be appreciated. All of these plants are growing in the same tray outside in full sun.
