Greetings,
My vanilla orchid vine has become too long again and so I'm looking to trade some cuttings for CPs. My CP grow list is short and I will take just about anything. However, I'm particularly interested in the following:
Cold-hardy stuff for my "pot bog" (freezes solid in the winter)...
My main interest is to have in my collection, every last known pinguicula so if you have one not on my grow list let me know. Beyond my Ping obsession i have very good luck with petiolaris and tuberous drosera and would like to enlarge my collection of them too. I always have lots of nepenthes...
Hello everybody
Some of you may already be aware of this, but if you aren't, Splinter Hill Bog is located in southern Alabama. The site is owned by The Nature Conservancy (TNC) and contains one of the last remaining intact stands of Sarracenia leucophylla in the world. There are many other...

I had some free time today and decided to post some pics of Sarracenia in their natural habitatsince many of you might not have had the chance to see them in this setting. These pics are from our trip this year to Florida and Alabama. We go at least once a year to see them and see how things are...

After reading the "Darlingtonia x Sarracenia" thread I've decided to ask a question dealing with a notion Trent Meeks brought to my attention. has anyone ever crossed Mexican Pings with temperate ones? There are many Mexican Ping hybrids, but there aren't any hybrids of the other Pings with...
Hey,
I've got 3 packets of S. rubra ssp. gulfensis from Yellow River, FL., about 20+ seeds per packet collected a couple days ago. I don't remember selfing this flower but it can only be self pollinated because it bloomed in early winter/late fall. I have a pic of the plant if anyone...
I am looking to add some pings to my bogs, mainly P. Primuliflora, P. Lutea, or P. Planifolia. I would like several and have VFTs and Sarrs to trade. PM me if interested and I will send a list of what I have available. Thanks!
Okay, here is the deal. I have a bunch of stuff to get rid of. Read the rule because I do not have time to hold hands on this one
1) I am not in a mad frantic rush so you don't necessarily have to be either. This is not first come first served. Take your time, check you collections, get your...

I've had one for more than a year, mostly as a window sill / open tray plant. But for this winter, I put it, along with a P. planifolia, P. primuliflora, and a whole mess of tropical sundews and bladderworts in a plastic storage container, open tray, room temp, under a 30W fluorescent light, for...
Okay,
I started with an old 15 gallon terrarium with holes drilled in the bottom for drainage. This terrerium is a classic terrerium for subtropical drosera and pinguicula.
Bottom layer: 1 1/2 inch layer of washed pebbles
Next layer: 1 inch layer of perlite
Next layer: a small amount of lfs...
2 yrs ago all of my Cps died off in a terrarium fungus incident of disastrous proportions. I am starting over again, growing my CP's with more light, less humidity and more air movement.
Current growlist

P. x tina
P. x titan
P. x john rizzi

I am going to make a classic (landscape) terrarium with an old 20-something gallon tank that I have. The plants will all be in the same medium. I plan on using a standard medium of 50/50 sand and peat layered over a couple inches of pebbles and horticultural charcoal for drainage. The tank will...
Well I havn't been active on this forum for a long time. I thought I'd post my growlist up here so those who remember me can see that i've progressed from my single VFT
Here's a link to this growlist on the CPUK Forums where I am active: lil_flytrap_KID's Growlist on CPUK
Drop me a PM...
Hey guys. I am pretty new to all this.
I have these two plants next to each other in a mini bog. P. planifolia and P. primulifolia. The planifolia is going gangbusters but the primuilflora has declined from a small vigorous colony to one plant barely making it.
Everyone is probably going to...
