Hi recently my Nepenthes bellii x robcantleyi appears to have some sort of problem. Its new growth on the last couple of leaves has begun to become stunted and the two newest leaves haven't really developed properly. There is like a brown rust like colouration on the new leaves and near the base...
Just curious. I'm really surprised by how long mine have lasted. The last of this past late summer/early fall pitchers is just now finally starting to brown out. Considering my winter RH has been around 15%, I'm quite impressed.
Mine hasn't formed any new pitchers since last year which was...
Up for auction is a grab bag of 3 heliamphora divisions.
It will be three of my choice based on many factors on my end (need for space, need for dividing, etc)
I will commit to two species being common or relatively common and one uncommon.
Do not expect fuzzy socks or giant sized divisions...
I'm hoping some of the more experienced Heliamphora growers can give me some help with this.
I'm currently growing two Heliamphora both of which I received at the same time. H. ionasii x heterodoxa has been growing well for me producing large mature pitchers, but H. uncinata has struggled to...
As i look through my greenhouse i have noticed that my Mirabilis var. Globosa is much paler than the rest of my plants. All the plants were moved into the greenhouse a few months ago and have adapted well. Although my "Viking" has grown by leaps and bounds, and is now begining to show signs of...
Up for auction is one seed-grown N. cecilae.
It is roughly 4 inches in diameter and this species appears to grow rather quickly and is not too picky about temps. I have found that it can be grown in the intermediate to highland range. This species produces deep rich maroon and black lower...
Up for auction is a rooted cutting of N. ventricosa x maxima which I received from a friend over winter. The cuttings and the plants are all growing quickly and well, seems to be a good clone. The photos of pitchers are from one of my established plants and the cutting photo is what you'll...

I decided to press some pitchers a while back... but what to do with them? Make bookmarks of course!
Up for bid is all three of these pressed pitchers, laminated, with some ribbons like a good bookmark :-D The one on the right has a strawberry leaf too.

Good day!
I have a problem with my nepenthes alata and rebecca soper, as described in the title.
The pitchers, although they look as in the pictures below, they have plenty of juice in them. Anyone had the same problem?
Also, can the nepenthes from the last picture be identified? It doesn't...
Hello TF'ers,
I'm having an issue with two of my nepenthes. One is a hybrid of N. (ventricosa x sibuyanensis) x burkei and the other is a nice seed grown N. burbidgeae.
The hybrid nep has been going down hill for the last month or so, and at first I thought perhaps I over fertilized it because...
Hi all,
Got this bical almost four months ago. It was in a peaty mix, bone dry, with almost no roots and half of the leaves cracked at the stem. No pitchers.
It's slowly recovering, I think. It's outside in south Florida, 50 to 90F, pure LFS, one hour of morning sun followed by bright shade...
Hello everyone. I was hoping you guys can help out with a few questions I have about my Nepenthes 'Lady Luck'. This is my first nepenthes. I ordered from a guy online, because the pitchers looked a really cool shade of red and this plant is supposed to do well indoors.
Amazon says I ordered it...
Afternoon, terraforums. I have a very young n. ventricosa that I got from Lowe'. None of the pitchers are open yet, but when one does open I want to try feeding it some insects to speed up his growth. Any suggestions? Remember, these are really small, juvenile pitchers. Thanks.
Good morning, terraforums. Yesterday I bought a baby N. Ventricosa from Lowe's and made a little terrarium for it to help maintain humidity. But I read online that ventricosa will tolerate low humidity, but mines a baby and it looks like it just started producing full pitchers. I even saw a...
I have a beautiful Nep for trade. I got it from one of our Terraforums members a while ago, and it's getting too big for my little space. It is a complex cross: N. (maxima x ?) x (fusca x ?) . Right now, it produces pitchers that are about 2 inches in size, but each leaf gets bigger and...
Overview of the indoor setup, light is a 6 bulb t5ho with two 3500k bulbs and 4 6500k bulbs.

I have a rooted nepenthes Miranda cutting. It currently has it's first open pitchers that are around 4". The plant is in a hanging pot and is approx 10" across the leaves. I am looking for any sarracenia I do not have. I only have about two species of them so there's a good chance I don't have...
This time of year in the Northwest we get a few ants that come into our house.
What would you feed the ants to? I have VFT, Pings, Sundews a few pitchers?
I tried a D.spatulata yesterday, came back 6-8 hours later and the ant was
still alive and kicking it's legs..
Suggestions?
