I crossed pollinated the following forms: N. paradoxa (stem forming, white flowers) and D. paradoxa (either Drysdale or Kimberly, pink flowers).
The fruits are maturing at the moment but I have already collected ~50 to 70 seeds. Interestingly, only the white flowers became fruits which...
I have some D. paradoxa plants forming fruits after I cross-pollinated two different forms. When should I cut the fruits off and dry them out to collect the seeds? The humidity has been above 65% outdoors and I doubt I'll see any of them pop/crack as they mature. Would waiting for the flower...
Hi!
I recently got into possession these 2 beautiful species. They are large size (ordensis 8cm and derbyensis 4cm across). I have a small terrarium where I grow d. paradoxa and d.petiolaris with great success. (Used to grow there d. kenneallyi too before my parent "took care of it").
The...
I'm jumping on the bandwagon and doing a little raffle for a pack of seeds from the ICPS seed bank I have laying around I haven't had a chance or space to plant.
They are labeled as "Drosera petiolaris group hybrid" needs 80-90 F to germinate.
I'm paying for the postage and will even ship...

I just discovered this last night:
I've got no other Petiolaris plants with flower scapes and I seriously doubt it would do anything with these that are sending up flower scapes:
Drosera ordensis x petiolaris seeds
I crossed these when both plants were flowering at the same time earlier this year. I managed to get some seed. The seed yield was very low on this cross you should get 10 to 20 seeds.
Free shipping in the US unless you want a padded envelope in that case...

Hi Guys,
I just got a new fresh package with 3 new plants, one of them including D. Lanata.
Ok so I hear petiolaris complex dews are pretty finicky! is this true, what are good ways to care for a lanata?
Here's my Lanata:
While cleaning out my lowland terrarium I noticed an anomaly on my D. petiolaris 'All Red', with all my other petiolaris complex plants their flowers always grow on long stalks, however with my D. petiolaris 'All Red' the flower is nestled within the rosette and appears to have a very short...

And some other...
I've got essentially a terrarium in a fishtank, with mostly tropical sundews and most of them are Petiolaris Complex. The temperature tops out at about 95 F / 35 C. Room temp is about 73 F / 23 C. Would it be a good idea or not to turn off the submercible heater for the night as I do the...

I'm still trying to find an effective way to create a tropical environment for my Petiolaris complex and other assorted hot and humid types. I'm tossing it around in my mind to redo my fishtank setup, either with that tank or something else more shallow. I'd like to put a bottom layer of clean...
