I have a D. lanata that is now sending up a scape. I understand that Petiolaris Complex require another plant to pollinate. I'm hoping that anything in the fishtank will also flower, but so far nothing is inclined to do so. Is it possible to cut the stamens and preserve the pollen?
The heated fishtank works fairly well but I don't think the humidity is high enough for some the Petiolaris Complex plants.
What I'd like to do is get a vessel that is about half the height and have my heater in a glass Prego jar, placed in the back center, with the bottom couple inches...
I lost all my Mexican Ping.'s last summer and want to rebuild now. I have some mature Petiolaris complex Drosera that I would trade for decent selections of Ping.'s, or for other Petiolaris complex dews-- here's what I have right now:

1 - D. paradoxa (Mt. Bomford)

My D. burmannii is blooming and right next to it is the D. lanata I just received. I had just cut off the older stalk but left the younger one be. I can't remember ever a time that a sundew flower stalk ever bloomed, after having been shipped with the stalk. Trouble is, I have no other...
I have more than enough and am looking to thin them out. I can either ship for postage ($5) or trade for sundews.
I am looking for Petiolaris Complex sundews, D. capillaris, D. rotundifolia, D. graminifolia, or anything else unusual, like B. redacta or R. gorgonia.

Thank you!
A friend recommended that I make a thread explaining how I successfully got a couple of D. kennealyii leaves to strike floating in water. Here are some shots of some successful leaf pullings from my D. kennealyii.

My D. lanata has been growing for a year now kind of just putting along. I really don't have a place inside or outside to keep the temperature above 80s like petiolaris prefer in the winter so I just moved my D. lanata outside 2 weeks ago where it is 100 degrees and sunny in the in-screened...

I am going to UGA this fall to major in horticulture. I have visited the campus several times and I'm on good terms with the people that manage the botanical collection greenhouses. If I'm lucky, I may get personal grow space in one of the greenhouses on campus.
If I get space in the UGA...
