This clump used to be a U. sandersonii, but since I put it in the terrarium I'm not sure really what it is anymore. I'm pretty sure most of it is nephrophylla, maybe some sandersonii left in there too.
A new plant that was a giveaway from RSS, thanks RSS! U. calcyfida
And also a giveaway...
Before the switch to frozen tundra is complete and shipping becomes truly risky, I thought I'd see if anyone is interested in a possible trade.
On the top of my growlist, I try to keep a fairly current list of plants I have available as well as those for which I'm looking. Here's what's up...
Thanks to all the generous people here on TF and a few other forums I think its my turn.
The "harder" or "rarer" plants I will decide who gets them by my best guess as who would get them growing and share them better. So some of this will not be unbaised. If I "feel" I owe someone they get...

As bad as I generally am with seed I've got the bug in my bottom to try some of these big and beautiful utrics I fawn over pictures of and would like to get going in my vivariums. Seed will take plenty of time to get anything going enough to transplant some in the vivs I'm sure but it's...

When I took pics of my Utric blooms a month or so ago, I also had my wife help me snap a pic of the internal flower parts of a U. nelumbifolia bloom (which I then forgot I had). Prior to the blooms opening, I searched all the forums for explanations & pics. While I did find a number of them, the...
As the title states, I'm looking for a viable piece of U. geminiloba.
I can offer U. nelumbifolia or U. humboldtii plants in trade.
If interested, please contact me via my email at:
U. nelumbifolia seedlings in small pot
Anyone who saw the pics of one of my blooming U. nelumbifolia knew that there would likely be some seeds in the not-too-distant-future. Well - the future arrived this past weekend. While most utric seed is notorious for having a short viability, U...

I've read that Orchidioides / Iperua seed have a short shelf life in general & U. humboldtii & U. nelumbifolia probably mark the lower end of the range with their 'special' seeds. It looks promising for me to have some U. nephrophylla seed in the coming weeks (& possibly U. longifolia seed in a...
