    Nepenthes robcantleyi x hamata

Hi, I'm excited about this new plant and was wondering if it will survive outdoors in south florida wether? I have a N. Predator that is doing excellent outside and a N. Robcantleyi x maxima also doing excellent outside.

    Nepenthes ventricosa x hamata

Since early Spring this has become the fastest growing plant I have had to date. Not sure why it took a year to recover from frozen above ground to the one in the pictures but I'm happy to see it. Not the best hamata hybrid but very nice and I don't see a lot of them around for sale. 02/12/2013...

    BE-3519 aristo X hairy hamata ?

Hello all. I just purchased this BE-3519 N. aristolochioides X RHH from my favorite local supplier. I think it is really pretty, however, I am not entirely convinced that this particular plant contains aristo genes. All of the other BE-3519 that were available looked a lot different than...

    Visited CA Carnivores Again

Peter and some of the crew were busy so I didn't have time to speak, but thats what being the biggest nursery in the US will do to ya. Damon was only a stone's throw away and was attentive and we had good conversation. After about 10 years of growing CP's it only takes 5 minutes to learn...

    Potential trade

I have a nepenthes Caesar that I am contemplating trading. I have more intermediate to highland conditions and as a result has stayed roughly the same size for many years. I also have a unrooted basal of a nepenthes Lowii x Boschiana that I am also thinking about trading if I can get something...

    Dancing hamata!

Google automatically backs up and "enhances" my photos, a.k.a. turns some into gifs. As a consequence, I sometimes end up with interesting photos, like this one - a dancing hamata:

What is my N. hamata doing?

Hello all! I received this N. hamata (BE-3495) on 01/14/14. It has been growing very well for me and has been producing successively larger pitchers until now. The most recent leaf is... weird. It's more of a nub. I did notice that my ultrasonic fogging machine had been directed straight...

    Nepenthes spathulata x hamata

Anyone seen the Nepenthes spathulata x hamata at auction on eBay? The foliage has an odd look to it color-wise, any thoughts. I'm not bidding but just wondered as my plant has nice green foliage like the pictures of others I have seen on the web.

    Mystery Trade Center

I thought it would be neat if people traded their extra plants but made it a surprise to the receiver. I have a few young ones of my own which should be ready later in the year for shipping, but by then I might forget about this idea. So here are the rules. 1. No revealing or hinting at what...

Maybe I should make a plant post

    N. talangensis x hamata for trade

I have for trade one seed-grown N. talangensis x hamata. This plant has been quite faithful to me. It always seems to have two or three, sometimes four or five pitchers on it at a time. Despite its small size it is not actually that young. I purchased it the better part of two years ago and it...

    largest hamata in cultivation?

When I have a greenhouse I'm going to let one of my hamatas grow as large as it wants to. I'll only make cuttings when a vine is mostly brown and the growing point is suffering for it. It occurred to me that I've never seen a large hamata before. The photos people post are almost always of...
