Ok what do you people think?
In the new chamber I have goin, I decided to go with a atmospheric control system (kinda).
Its a canister style with a division down the center. On one side it would have a carbon scrubber. Vortex fan pulling air out the tank and into the left side of the canister...

Hello, I purchased my fogger the other day and am now in need of a low pressure pump to bring clean water out of the supply can to the fogger... It can/should be low pressure (5psi-30psi or so...) And only maintains this pressure... Not run always. Anyone know of such a thing?
Thanks!
Andrew
I am not exactly sure if this breaks the rule or not since I am asking for something but its not a plant and I am willing to trade if interested in anything I have.
Anyway, does anyone have an ultrasonic fogger that they would be willing to part with?
Thanks
Joe

I thought some people here might find this interesting reading. This was on yesterday's ICPS list serve, and I know everyone doesn't belong to the PFT forums and there.
There were several posts to this question, besides the one below. One was as simple as a dorm room fridge(with door removed)...
so, i converted my 20gallon long set-up to a 33gallon breeder which is the same length as a 55gallon but lacks height which is good since i grow primarily small plants in my personal set-up and well, something new was added.

A few pics taken quickly with a video camera.
N. burbidgeae's second pitcher. The first one was only half the size of this one. Still a long way to go!
N. copelandii that colored up nicely.
Another shot at the N. copelandii. A bit on the small size. Again, it has a long way to go!

Hey guys I was taking apart my ultrasonic fogger today to clean it and the small spring loaded disc in the center cracked into two! so I need to know where I can get a replacement disc and or what can be used instead of the stock piece....
Any help would be much appreciated...
So the new terrarium (neps and drosera) is going great by all appearences, but a couple questions. I have a small sprite fan (computer cooling fan) inside to circulate air. When I ran it constantly, the humidity got as little low as the terr. is not perfectly sealed up. So I added broader trays...
Hello all,
Here is a plan that I have created using some research of cooling properties and some of my own planning:
1) The idea: Create a "wind" of super-humidified air that blows across the plants, and is then removed through an exaust fan on the other side of the growchamber to cool even...
SYNOPSIS: I am gearing up to design an "environmental" system for my chamber (Heating, Humidification, Ventilation and Air Conditioning... so I guess it's "HHVAC").
-I'd love to hear some of your suggestions, and descriptions of your setups. I would rather not charge blindly into this while I...
here are the photos of some of my equipments. hopefully, it will be some help to someone:
Air Pump. i use a few of these to circulate the air. they are supposed to be used for aquariums.
Bloodworms. to feed the plants
Bricks. to raise the trays to the light.
Fogger. makes humidity higher...
Ugh..today one of my flourecents wen't out and my fogger stopped for some odd reason...the Bical INSTANTLY started to look iffy and most of the leaves turned black....I stuck in a fish tank heater which was my reserve if this kind of thing happened but I think it is too late for my bical...All...
Hello everyone,
Here are some pics of a cheap experiment I made the past few days. I had a Exoterra Fogger, spare 5.5 gallon tank, and a nice fan at my disposal, so why not try something new?? I spent a few $ at Lowe's getting PVC pipe, metal brackets, and nylon screws, etc to make it all...
Just got my plant! It's a Bical 'Red Flush'. So excited..! It has 3 inch leaves and no pitchers! woot..I get to watch it grow My terrarium has a cool flourecent and a full spectrum....60-90%humidity...changes for some reason..that'll change tomorow with my fogger...I put the little plant up on...
Hello,
I am considering adding an Ultrasonic Fogger to my Nepenthes plant collection. From what I have read, these produce a nice amount of mist and can raise the humidity very quickly to ±100%.
From what I have read on various manufactures' websites, the misters should no be run more than 8...
