My female N.singalana is blooming again and I'd like to get some N.singalana pollen for her. Will also consider offers of pollen from other species that may produce some interesting hybrids. Standard 50/50 split on all resulting seed pods.
Thanks.
After a long pause growing plants I recently started againin January 2016. Hopefully the spring will allow me to ramp up slowly and see what species I can grow outside without much trouble.

Hey everyone,
I'm much more of a lurker on this forum but thought that this would be worth posting.
My male N. clipeata is coming into flower and was really hoping to find a female to produce species seed. I would love to send pollen to anyone that owns a female whether it is in flower or...
I have an inflorescence starting on my male N.boschiana, pollen should be ready to harvest in about a month. I would prefer that the pollen be used on a female N.boschiana or to make potentially interesting primary hybrids. Standard 50/50 split on all seeds produced.
I will bump this thread as...
I have a female N.platychila coming into bloom and would like to get ahold of some platychila pollen. I always prefer to make pure species whenever possible but I will entertain offers of other potentially interesting pollen.
Standard 50/50 split on all seed pods.
Thanks !
Hi
Has anyone got some N. robcantleyi pollen available as mine is starting to flower as of mid September 2015. Standard conditions of 50:50 seed sharing after successful pollination.
The plant was sourced from Hampshire Carnivorous Plants and is the Queen of Heart x King of Spades cross.

Hi, Haven't been on here in forever, but I wanted to let you know I have pollen available from my N. sibuyanensis x merrilliana. If you have a female in bloom I'll go ahead and send the pollen out, split the resulting seed 50/50. It might be best to email me. sam.bookhardt@gmail.com but I'll...
I've heard rumors about this happening, but I wonder if any of you have seen this occur in your own plants: gender switching. I have a BE clone of N. vogelii that flowered 14 months ago, and provided me with loads of pollen, with which I successfully made several crosses.
A few days ago I was...
A few photos from this morning.
A Brown Hawker on patrol. These flying aces never seem to settle. Trying to get a half decent shot is great fun :0o:. She was enjoying herself teasing the camera as she performed her aerobatics.
A male Common Darter. He at least just kept moving away, a...
I have had this nepenthes for going on 2 years now. It has now just started to flower! I'm pretty excited because this is the first flowering nepenthes I've ever had. Can anyone help me identify if this is male or female by any chance?
and heres the unknown nepenthes pitcher unfolding
These are the first reptiles I've ever owned. I went to the Reptile Expo in White Plains, NY yesterday and went home with 3 crested geckos that I did a naturalistic setup for and a leopard gecko, currently in a simple 10g setup.

This is a giveaway, not a trade: one vine tip cutting of Nepenthes truncata X spectabilis, a female by the way. This is an intermediate temperature grower, so you know. Please don't sign up for this is you cannot provide the right growing conditions for it. Also, be aware that this is a LARGE...
Hey guys, I have 3 Nepenthes that I would like to trade out.
- Nepenthes hamata, fresh cutting from the shoot that is boxed out in the picture. Established growth point. I'm not entirely sure of the pedigree. I was told by the people at UC Davis that the mother plant was a gift to the...
I have a female N.singalana in bloom and need some pollen for her. I would prefer pollen from N.singalana but, I know this is a long shot. Will entertain all reasonable offers. Standard 50/50 split on all seeds. There are enough flowers to do several crosses if needed.
Thanks !
Hi all,
Out of sheer luck, our 5-year-old N. bicalcarata has decided to create its first flower stalk ever! The buds are still too primordial to sex the plant, but it appears to be a male inflorescence. I am willing to send pollen--not particular at all what it gets crossed with--for a cut of...
I was curious if anyone has snakeflies in their area. I haven't seen one in a couple years, and I had no idea they existed until I saw these guys.
To me they look more like something someone dreamed up in a computer animation studio than something I expect to find on my plants. They are...

Sorry if this question is dumb but I've been wondering what is the difference between lets just say a N. Maxima x Alata and a N. Alata x Maxima? Also when you do create hybrids how would you go about describing the hybrid? Like the male x female? Lastly does it work the same sarrs?
