FWIW, its the only ping I have that hasn't flowered.... which may or may not be a characteristic in itself

i managed to procure for myself a P. cyclosecta. unfortunately, from shipping, the plant is in rather VERY shoddy shape. many of the leaves have been torn off and i can't even make out what's left of the main plant--cant find the growing point, and no roots. i planted what i thought was the...

I only have about 5 months experience with pings, so I'm new to them. I have a couple that are entering the succulent phase, and don't look to well. My media is sand/vermiculite/perlite/peat in equal parts, with a topping of 1" of APS. Under 4 t8's 16 hours a day, with the rest of my pings...

Both of these Pings I've had for a long time. They survived the Ping genocide I had awhile ago.
This first one something happened with the tag. It's certainly not a P. cyclosecta. At the time I had: P. jaumavensis, P. esseriana, and I think P. Yucca Do 1713.
Unfortunately it's yet to flower...

The species in this thread seem to have carried on as though they didn't even notice the extended period of dryness they have just endured...
