I was using the DSLR on the Byblis so took some pics of the Nep pitchers as well. Disclaimer: The cool-growing plants are quite new so some of the pitchers came with the shipment...not that I can grow intermediate/highland Neps so well here in HOT Singapore. :cool:

I've decided to trade off my Seed Grown N. aristolochioides x diatas. The plant is about 8" tall and 9" or 10" across. This is an extremely rare hybrid produced by Hortus Botanicus shortly before they closed shop. I don't think I've seen photos of another one in cultivation. The grows happily...
Well, I told myself when I moved to SoCal that I needed to choose among Edibles, CPs, or Succulents. Well, this year I added... well, I guess I failed and have them all, oops! I just gotta grow. I've still got more seeds that I'm waiting on, not that I need more plants, but here's the ones...
I really like this Nepenthes hybrid from EP. I like the stripe peristome (N. lowii influence), dark pitcher and plant is small. The pitcher is as big as the plant, very compact due to the N. aristolochioides in its background. It does have a few hairs under the lid.:banana2:

i got a new order in last week. i lucked out and caught them before they sold out of their n. aristolochioides, one i've been eagerly searching for for a few months now. I potted it in the 2.5" pot that it came with, and then later that night decided it was too small and that i would put it in...
Good evening, just need a little advice. I am mostly a pinguicula, Heliaphorma, cephalotus guy, but would like to add to my nepenthes collection. What are your favorite hybirds? Its really hard to see when they aren't fully grown. Currently I have N. Ventricosa, N. Glandulifera, N. Robcantleyi x...
So late last year and into early this year I gave away hundreds if not thousands of hybrid Nepenthes seeds from hybrids that I was able to make because of pollen donated from both this community and a few others. The "donated by" refers to who gave me the pollen that made the crosses possible...

Hello Everyone. I have decided that I need to add a couple more neps to the collection and I would like a little more help from Terraforums.
First off, I was looking at Nepenthes Truncata. However, I also found one listed under Nepenthes Pasian Truncata (tissue cultured from borneo). Is there...
Since BE and EP recently done gorgeous hybrid of one of my favorite species, burbidgeae, I figure it be a good thread to start and see these Bad boys!
Here are mine;
burbidgeae x aristolochioides
sumatrana x burbidgeae
As I was watering the plants this morning, I realized that I've only ever shared photos when I needed an ID or a diagnosis. So, I thought I may as well share with you a few of my plants. Please excuse the poor lighting; it's a rainy, dreary day in New Haven.
First up, a few of the nepenthes...
Hello all.
I just purchased this BE-3519 N. aristolochioides X RHH from my favorite local supplier. I think it is really pretty, however, I am not entirely convinced that this particular plant contains aristo genes. All of the other BE-3519 that were available looked a lot different than...

This N. Thorelii x Aristolochioides just started giving me issues a week ago, the leaves are starting to curl and the lower leaves are turning orange (I'm assuming that's just old leaves dying off.) The leaves are still stiff except for the yellow/orange ones and I don't see any unusual spots...
I have a plant with two basals. Looking for Hamata, Ephippiata, Nepenthes aristolochioides....idk open for offers, not sure if i want to keep both basals or trade one off. Pm me and let me know
Playing with my new camera. Figured I could start one of these finally. Still not a lot of diversity at my house, but there will be more in the future.
