Some very nice macro's. What kind of camera are you using?

great. i especially like the Prolifera shot.

Howdy and thanks for the kudos! I use a Pentax K10D with a variety of Sigma and Zeiss/Hasselblad lenses as well as a stack of extension tubes. Most of these pix were shot with a Sigma 105 mm macro lens; for the D. madagascariensis I used a Zeiss/Hasselblad 60mm f/3.5 Distagon C and half a foot worth of extension tubes :). Tripod and macro rail not optional, of course :)

But it really doesn't matter. It's YOU who takes the pictures, not that box :)

Hans,
Thanks for sharing the great pics! I don't think I ever get tired of looking at cool CP shots like that ... :hail:

That's cool how the pygmies have been getting the mosquitoes. I didn't think mosquitoes got caught that often.

Thanks again for the kind words, y'all! The mosquitoes get caught a lot, because they breed in the water the pots are in. The tank's closed, so they can't escape.

Beautiful pictures! Wish I had your camera!
