Ditto - last summer was the hottest on record for our area and my basement highlanders suffered. I've got a lot more potentially temperamental plants this year - so - yeah - very concerned about the upcoming season ....

I got this oddball species from somewhere in the past couple years. I got it because of the foliage resembling a small Phalaris aquatica (reed canary grass) it's finally blooming size at 8" tall. Not a pretty bloomer either but the flower still retains the "grass" look.

Saved from Lowes.

I saved this one from Lowes. Paid the guy $3 for it and had it a year before it finally bloomed!

Let's see if this works.
