We should never try and compare our plants to Ron's. We'll only drive ourselves mad.....

LOL - you guys crack me up! :-))

Some people can compete in this thread with crazy photographic skills. I obviously don't fit in that category but I do have the good fortune to grow some cool plants. Sometimes the plant's beauty allows people to ignore my meager photographic foibles. I'm hoping the plant this month can pull me through once again ...

Thought I might join in the fun this month with one of my surprise "look what my camera did." This is an S. catesbaei taken earlier this month.

Nice dew mass!

hey thanks.
I've been debating switching them over to a sandy peat based mix. But they seem happy enough where they are.

  • #35
Ive been growing mine in sphagnum as well (dead though) and seems happy. Only had it a few short months though. I avoid using peat when possible.

Beautiful nep, Whim.

I'm quite proud of this pic, and I love this species, so here is D. scorpioides (Albany)

Wow, that's one of the best drosera pics I've seen. I'm not a big fan of drosera, but this one looks amazing! Well done. :D

I've shown these photos earlier in the month, so I apologize for the repeat. My D. capillaris seedlings are starting to show some sparkle:
