Glad the lusitanica germinated well for you! Looks like you've pretty much got 99% germinated. Any luck yet with the P. chilensis?

Still no luck with the P. chilensis. I think I'm going to try putting the pot on my heating pad to raise the daytime temperature and see if that helps.

You must be really excited for those D. pauciflora. I know I can't wait until you post an update of them flowering.

Those mini greenhouses are absolutely awesome. youre going to want to make sure the bottom parts are sealed up through,
they will mildew your carpet fast as a roadrunner.

Yes I am excited about the D. pauciflora. I've got a bunch of D. cistiflora seedlings here too and that adult plant that's just now finally waking up. I'm hoping that one's big enough to flower this year though I'll have to wait and see.

As for the mini greenhouse - I don't have a humidifier for it yet. I'm researching right now to figure out what I need and I think I should also insulate it in some way so the heater doesn't have to run as much and so it won't cool down so much at night.

a t5 fixture would do just the trick for your heating. mine heats up to about 80-83 on peak days.

Nice job with the lamellata. I still have yet to sow my lamellata and gigantea seeds, as I've forgotten the dilution again

The dilution is easy - 1mg GA3 per 1ml water

And Nem - I'm 100% LEDs now and I'm not planning on going back. I do like the idea of having a constant heat source rather than a thermostat system though.

I found this right outside my home, sitting in the grass. I never imagined I'd find a deer shed even if I was purposefully looking for one, but there it was.

NIce pictures. Copelandii is a great species that seems to fly under the radar somewhat.

Yeah it's a really nice plant. I picked it up because it was cheap and looked decent and I've been really impressed with it. This particular clone seems to produce much more intensely-colored pitchers than most people have too, though it may just be due to light intensity.

I certainly hope so, though it's been a pretty slow grower so far. It might just need to get to a certain size before it speeds up.

I remember it being a reasonably vigorous species. I gave one to my friend a long time ago that was between 2 and 3 inches across that seemed to put out a new leaf every other time I visited his house. It did all this despite being grown in a sealed glass box 4 feet from the window.
