well that didnt work...:glare:

Sure you can, just add the IMG tags in yourself, but it has to be a url, not a file direction from your computer. Really though, photobucket is the easiest way, and its free. Make an account, upload your photos to it, then copy paste the "IMG Code" into your post.

i will just use my avatar for my entry. i just uploaded it. why cant you put pictures onto your posts straight from iphoto? anyways the sarr in my avatarr is an s flava. it was growing in Green Swamp Nature Preserve in North Carolina. the picture was taken in summer 2011.

You can do it at TinyPic.com. Just host the image, copy the text in the field that says "Direct Link for Layouts", then paste it in the reply field here and put image tags around it. So it will look something like this:

EDIT: Also, if you end up using a photo-hosting website that requires an account, I'd recommend Flickr over Photobucket. I used to have all my photos on Photobucket, but I found that I didn't like the way it compressed the images when you post them somewhere. Since then I've found that Flickr preserves the color and crispness of the full-res photo even when it's resized and posted on another website, without the compression artifacts that seem to plague Photobucket and most other sites (including TinyPic).

thing is im 13 and i guess im to young to have an account on photobucket, the site wont let me register. anyways, just go to my profile to see a bigger pic of the sarr

i just dont want to mess with photobucket, flickr, etc right now

Use TinyPic.com (the link I put in my post), it doesn't require an account. Posting a larger image here will allow members here to better see your entry without navigating away from this page.

I must be feeling brave. These were taken earlier in the year :-D

sarracenia x, I am afraid I can't accept your entry unless you post it here.

and please stop using your age as an excuse, many people here are also young. Heck, I'm 15.
Very nice pics Liz! I think they have a chance.

Flickr is kind of confusing compared to others, but this is how:

Click your image, click share, click "grab html/bbcode, copy paste the html into your post.

Example (sorry no cool CP photos, on my school laptop):
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/66871944@N08/6327822328/" title="BCMP-Logo by 31drew32asrdaw, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6059/6327822328_762e0542aa.jpg" width="241" height="124" alt="BCMP-Logo"></a>
