First Flowering Nepenthes!

Vbkid

Getting There...
So it might only be a Ventrata, but the small plant I got from Lowe's about a year and a half ago is now a sizable plant and I woke up this morning to see that a flower is forming above the newest leaf that opened!
I'll post pictures later, and possible see if anyone can tell if it is male or female!

Congrats on that first flower Vbkid, with hopefully many more to come for you.

Male flowers are round ball-shaped and the female flowers are slightly oblong football (think NFL) shaped.

Here is a photo taken today, the flowers looked more spherical than oblong, but any other opinions?

The photo is kind-of-fuzzy. Could you provide a better photo?

And that's a very healthy looking rachis. :)
