While typing with the TV on next to me, I heard somebody on CSI Miami say "drosera"! Naturally, this caught my attention and I started watching. They claimed that the plant part stuck to a shoe was a "drosera villosa" and even showed a video of a fly getting ensnared.
I assume that it was indeed the correct plant-so they wrap around their victims?
They even went on to say that it was carnivorous and made some attempt at drama with a statement along the lines of "we are dealing with a killer".
