Hi Everyone,
I have recently started a mini nepenthes collection in a small greenhouse I have converted to house tropical plants.
This thread will just be a running album of some hand-picked photos from my Flickr page.
I am really interested to see if you are growing some of the same species...
Hi all,

Dear fellow nature lovers and carnivorous plant enthusiasts:
Hopefully most of us in this community understand that many of the plants we love to grow are becoming...
Hi guys,
New here. Everyone calls me Ale for short, they say my name is to long. Anyways, I love plants overall but I'm fascinated by carnivorous plants, have my mini greenhouse in my condo. Looking forward to meeting and chatting with all of you and learn along the way. :-)
Best
Ale
Hey everyone,
been growing some carnivorous plants for a little while now here in WA but I've loved them since I was a kid (well, to be fair I'm just a big kid nowadays still haha!).
Looking forward to learning more on here especially in the area of growing from seed and meeting new people...
New to carnivorous plants but finally got a really nice pitcher to add to my "living wall"[emoji2]. Climate here in Hawaii makes it easier to culture these guys along side my bromeliads & mini orchids. Hope to learn techniques & tips from forum members on keeping these interesting plants!

I have pictures of both it's carnivorous and succulent state with a flower that just opened.
Hi there I'm Jessica! I'm new to the wonderful world of carnivorous plants. I currently have two Venus fly traps, a few mixed sarracenia, and one nepenthes. Most are from Lowes, but all are doing very well. I look forward to talking to you all, and learning as much as possible.
Hey all,
Ran across this (below link) from the VCPS, wondering if anyone else has tried propagating tuberous species through cuttings. I have D. zigzagia flowering and waiting to strike from a leaf cutting at the moment. I'm curious about specifics on pollination, sowing, and cuttings for that...
I am new to the forum but I'm no stranger to growing carnivorous plants. I've read that Utricularia quelchii grows in the urns of bromeliads, so I also want to know if they can grow in a container of water. I've also seen some growers growing epiphytic Utricularia on filter media or sponge...
My name is Edson, I'm from Brazil.
I am an admirer of carnivorous plants, further the Drosera.
My texts will be translated into English. have many errors, I understand.
I seek a general learning, this is infinite. But I'm really looking for help with gender drosophyllum.
I anticipate my thanks.
Hi all,
You know how when you visit Ikea you always return with things that weren't on your shopping list? Well a few months ago I went to Ikea and came home with a Venus fly trap.
My ignorance nearly killed it, but with some research I've managed to keep it alive and I was even rewarded with...
Hey all, I have a some D. Finlaysoniana that I sowed a few months ago. A few of those seedlings are just now starting to leave the tiny seedling stage. The largest is about an inch tall and across now. The thing that I'm wondering is what kind of watering these plants want as they mature. I...
Brandon here! Long time carnivorous plant enthusiast. Have had collections in the past but have moved around a lot and given everything away. Just settled near Portland and starting back up! Sarracenia and hardy drosera are my preference as I only grow outdoors.
Hi all,
I've been into carnivorous plants for a long time and always wanted to grow nepenthes but didn't think it would be realistic since Davis is practically a desert. Last summer I got a 60 or so gallon terrarium at the thrift store and grow lights and started growing some nepenthes, a...
Giving away this small/medium nepenthes lowii. This is a TC clone from Native Exotics which has proven to be very vigorous. It has doubled in size in my care in only a few months, which is especially surprising since it experienced ultralowland conditions all summer long. I am sure that a...
The International Carnivorous Plant Society and the North American Sarracenia Conservancy are hosting a joint benefit auction on the ICPS forum. We are in need of donated auction items and would be extremely grateful if you could help us out. This auction will help fund anti poaching initiatives...
Wow, it has been a long time since I have been on these forums. My life got pretty crazy for a while, but I still actively grow my carnivorous plants.
So, I experimented with cuttings since I have last been on here, and way more of them survived than I was expecting. So, now I have 8 rooted...
