NASC auction is OPEN!!
hahahaha. "special needs" hamata :awesome:

well, "special needs"/dementor/i-need-braces hamata went through a transplant shock recently and has been set back a bit. that being said, the newest growth looks very promising....a very nice sheen to it, so im expecting it to straighten up within this growing year.

more artsy fartsy shots, and intentionally raising up the hype with d. falconeri.... quite amused that the last one put on ebay was sold at $50....wow.

call this one "interlocking fingers"

and this one "catching the next wave"

a couple shots of opened heliamphora, the chimantensis pitcher got bruised and is improperly developing, so i'll leave it out this time.

some more photos:
more photos of the introgressed H. heterodoxa x minor. a newly opened pitcher reveals more and more that it is definitely not pure minor despite its size.

I also think your RHH really wants to come live in my basement ... :crazy:

@heli, @lime: thanks very much!
@thez: hahaha. yes. im pretty stoked. hopefully it starts to get more fuzzy wuzzy.
@pine: yes. all hail the toilet neps! they, in particular are my faves...
@ron: yes, i was thinking the same thing about that photo! and i would love to let my RHH move in with you, but most likely, it'd get homesick, and pout and die. :lol:
@cthulhu: it's because im asian. and i've got sick ninja skills. :awesome:

@carn: oh, you werent there for the sad news....the plant decided to abort the flower---guessing my conditions were too humid for the flower to persist. the flower stalk rotted/melted at the middle, so there was no chance for an encore performance.

thanks fred, you gonna do the same?

I would, except a wind storm with constant gusts up to 60 miles an hour for 10 hours straight practically destroyed my first wave of sarr flowers and pitchers yesterday. Other than that, it was a beautiful sunny Sunday afternoon. :censor:

'All very nice. It's especially fun to look at your H. heterodoxa x minor as I'm about to receive one of my own. And how'd I miss those shots of D. falconeri? Ninja, indeed.

@bluemax: yes. indeed. :lol:
@av8tor1: thanks very much sir....when will you be taking glamour shots of yours? :lol:

speaking of akopan, the pitcher has fully developed, and may i say, she is a sexy beast....
